Comments: Rainbow trout populations were largely wiped out by invading troops in 1944-1945. After the war restocking with eggs imported from Denmark was done. In Moravia, spawning took place in the upper reaches of the Olza, Ostravice, and Moravice rivers of the Odra basin, and in the Dyje, Morava, Svitava and Jihlava Rivers of the Dunaj basin. In Bohemia, it is found in the Stenava River of the Odra basin and in such rivers as the Metnje, Ticha, Orlice, Loucna, Doubravka, Luzicka Nisa, Jizera, Ohre, Vuznice, Okrouhice, Nezarka and Blanice of the Labe River basin (Ref. 13364).
